HISTORY
Congregation Beth Hagivot is one of the youngest and fastest growing Reform congregations in the Valley of the Sun.
A small group of dedicated people with common interests and spiritual needs banded together over twenty years ago to form a social club they called Shalom Fountain Hills.
As membership grew, the club eventually evolved into a formal congregation in 2003, Congregation Beth Hagivot literally means "House in the Hills". Nurtured in a warm, friendly and small community environment, Beth Hagivot is emerging as one of the most dynamic congregations flourishing in the Northeast Valley.
The objective of our congregation is to provide a forum for experiencing religious, cultural and celebratory aspects of Jewish life. The Congregation is committed to offer that experience in an open, egalitarian environment where all members feel comfortable and are encouraged to participate. Our goal is to continue the viability of the Jewish people by providing religious education to our members along with a strong sense of Jewish community.
Beth Hagivot's Rabbi Bonnie Koppell is our spiritual leader. She is one of the most dynamic, informative and exciting Rabbis in the Valley of the Sun. We as a congregation are honored to have her as our spiritual leader. Please visit Rabbi Koppell's website azrabbi.com
